late again is the solo project of rafael, a brooklyn-based-brazilian-born-dream-pop-all-round-chill-guy.

he mixes the indie, synthetic, and dreamy textures from the city with melodies and stories from his home country in unpretentious songs that live in their own limbo.

melodies too soft to be heavy but too heavy to feel soft, lyrics too ironic to be corny but too corny to be ironic, from a composer too white to look latino but too latino to be white. the limbo creates songs that are often unsure of where they belong - they're just happy to be here.
